EFI fuel tank for 4AGE conversion Thu, 26 February 2004 07:32 Go to next message
when doing a 4AG conversion on an 86, i was told it would be easier to just install an EFI fuel tank instead of fitting an aftermarket fuel pump or something (is this true?).

anyway, what EFI fuel tanks do most people use in this situation? the JDM 86 fuel tank? i suppose that would be easiest to install

Although a jdm efi tank would be the easiest way, it would also be the dearest.

Just get a vn commodore tank with the pump and find a metal fabrication place to insert vn pump and baffles into standard sprinter tank.

Ive had this done and it only cost me $300, which is still cheaper? and easier? then a surge tank set up.
