What is a bush in a gearbox? Tue, 20 August 2002 23:28 Go to previous message
What is a bush?

A mate that bought my 924T with a slooppy gearbox (could put it in 1st and move it to where 5th should be) was missing a bush. If anyone knows the 924T, how did he put it in? (trick question)

Same guy said that Supras are prone to having the same bush "go" on the gearbox, which makes it sloppy.

I want my gearbox selection to be a bit more ... defined. How hard is it to change a bush?

Can I do it?

I've been told theres a really good Toyota/Supra gearbox place around either Morebank or Milperra that will know all about my gearbox, how to put in a shortened shifter (shortened throw and shortened stick). Anyone know who this is?
