can a 3A-C head go onto a 4A-C block? Mon, 08 March 2004 09:25 Go to previous message
I have a Toyota Tercel 84 model that has been converted over to a 4A-C. (stock they come with a 3A-C)

The bottom end is good but the head has seen better days.

I have the head off a 86 model 3A-C Tercel (unleaded if there is any different from an 84 model 3A-C head like on the original engine I had).

Can I just get this head rebuilt and drop it onto the 4A-C block?

I dont expect anyone to really know because I doubt anyone has ever done it.

Might just call a head shop and see if the VRS kit is the same and see if they know.

thanks if you guys can give me any advice.
