tps open?

hey, if my tps sensor thinks the throttlebody is 14% open even when the car is off, is there a way to program the computer to make it read 0?
its a throttle body off a ford explorer on a 4agze-t and a microtec mtx-8 computer...
any thoughts??

first, check your throttle cable is actually fully closing your throttle.
next get a handset for the microtech - you can set a zero for the TPS on microtechs (although I dont know how to do it thru the handset)

Ring up microtech and get a manual on the comp and a handset if you dont have one, the manual will explain it the easiest way.
