bogstocka Occasional Poster Location: brisbane Registered: May 2002	1ggte in an ra23 Sat, 24 August 2002 01:57 ok i just have a few questions for those of u that have done this conversion or similar. how has it affected the handling of your car (is it to front heavy). i know some of u may not want to answer this but i'm interested in knowing how much it costs. i have overestimated the prices for everything to make sure i can afford it if things go wrong but i'm interested to see the prices for: 1. motor, g'box and computer (if u used stock computer) 2. how much u spend on aftermarket management if u went that way. 3. fuel system 4. for those of u that didn't put it in yourselves how much did it cost to get someone else to put it in and wire it up (even though i'd prolly do this myself i'm still interested). 5. brake upgrade 6. intercooler (whether upgrade or one from front cut) 7. new radiator if need (is it needed) 8. diff when old one goes (i'm guessing 1500 for borg or similar) 9. engineering 10. tailshaft shortening if required. 11. pretty much any other costs u encountered. and for those of u that have done it yourselves i'd be interested to know how u fitted it (yes i have read the article in that section but it does not go into much detail). i know its expensive but i'm interested in doing this next year during my time off from uni so any info would be greatly appreciated. cheers simon [Report message to a moderator]
