ae92 rear strut question Mon, 22 March 2004 06:37 Go to next message
Are the ae92 rear struts the same for all the models?

I've just got some 16x6" sportivo rims with 195/55s on them and the rears just scrub the bottom of where the strut and the spring housing are joined, hence wondering if, say the SX struts, if they had a slightly taller clearance compared to the standard SE struts. Or if the area the houses the bottom of the spring was flatter like the front struts.

The fronts don't have any problems at all and i don't really want to go to spacers or have to get rid of a brand new set of tyres.

Guess i'll have to go down a profile if there isn't a difference.

Thanks

The rear struts are the same between all AE92 series , it is only the fronts that are different.
