different wheel offsets

Just wondering if it will cause any problems if the 2 fronts wheels run different offset? On dad's Prado he wants to be able to use the wheels off the camper trailer as spares, but they seem to stick out about 20mm further ie. im guessing different offset.
Scrubing the guards isn't really a problem due to being raised.
Just not sure if it can affect steering or anything
