Where'd you get those throttles, and how much they set you back? *mind starts working*

Nice work dave!!! I had no idea that GE's ran a dissy!! How LAME!!

Are you running the stock fuel rail and injectors?? If so i have some 390cc's you can have.

BTW If you keep the dissy you'll only need a M48 ECU. I Had to upgrade to an M800.(Not enough outputs)

Thanks guys. However I really must thank Allan for migging up the mounts (and pointing out how bad a welder I am Grin) , and the good folk at Castgna steel who guillotined the steel plate saving me umpteen angle grinder disks. Unfortunately the only photo of the engine mount that I have at the moment is really dark and very little detail can be discerned.

Mrshin, the throttle bodies were bought second hand from Glenn (ra45gtcelica), but I understand Motec, Speed Tecnology (Steve Newing) and Injection Perfection all make them for whatever application in a range of sizes. They all have websites.

Pete, I will be running 440 cc injectors with the M48 but thanks for the offer. I thought you could get ignition expanders for the M48 to get 6 outputs Shocked .....I hope so because I want to ditch the dizzy eventually and run the coil packs. Otherwise I'll have to follow your lead and get an M800! The second generation 2JZGEs (post '98 ) run coilpack ignition.

I'll have a few more pics in the next week or 2.

Cheers Dave.

The M48 Pro with ignition expanders is about $3300 + add about $350-400 for loom and sensors!! An M800 was $3500 with Turbo loom and sensors.

Paul from Motec Queensland told me the M800 worked out cheaper, he was correct.

If you need my 1j injectors, you know where to look.$$$=Free

(BTW. We had to purchase 2 ECU's to get that price.)

That's right I forgot....by the time you add the expanders to the base price you're into M800 territory....silly me (mind slowly working). I managed to haggle to 3 flat for M48Pro, loom and sensors.
Are the 1J injectors top or side feed?

That looks really good....

curiously though, how does the weight of the 2j go compared to the lump that was in there?

Funnily enough, they're supposed to weigh about the same amount. However, now the front of the car sits up a mile (well at least 2 inches). That's a good thing! It can only mean it's a bit lighter (or that I've just shifted the mass further back in the car.....not likely).
