I have been looking into getting a 1986 celica sx for a while.. it will be my frist car, i have gone to see a few cars and last night i went to check out this guys car - he wants $3,600 for it with RWC + 11mths rego. It turns out it is an ST, not what i was looking for but i'm happy to settle for it if the price is good. The Car - red, manual, liftback, p/s central locking, viper alarm system, sony cd player, sports exhast, been legally lowered. It has a/c but is not working atm apparently the compressor needs to be replaced... apart from that the car seems fine but i am going to get a vehicle inspection before i buy it to make sure the engine etc is ok. Do you think this price is reasonable and is there any advice you could give me? thanks!!
