heys all
im new to this club, and new to turbo cars.
i've just recently bought myself a 1988 st185 toyota celica gt4. i've had it for bout a month now, and haven't really trashed it. yes i've driven it hard, but neva hit redline, and always warmed up my car and turbo timed it b4 and after driving hard.
just today, my friend noticed that after starting it, white smoke began to come out from my exhaust. it wasn't alot but it was constant when i was idling. it'd stop all together after bout 5minutes of driving.
my friend says it could be my turbo, turbo oil lines, other oil lines or my cooling system. can anyone shed light on this area.
also if it indeed in my turbo or oil lines, how much will a second one cost or would it be better to recon it? also wat other turbo'w will bolt straight in?
sorry for the long post and thx for your time and help
alvin
