Do any of you guys (or girls) have any first hand knowlege of sticking a big magnet on your oil filter?
There are several products now available (MRT, Beartrap) that are claiming to trap small magnetic particles from your oil as it goes through your oil filter (and presumably doesn't get filtered). The process is similar to the magnetic diff sump plug.
It sounds like a cheap mod to get that 0.001% that we all go after Laughing

Do racers for example use this device?
What about just getting a great big speaker magnet?
