ed_ma61 Forums Junkie Location: Lost in the K hole Registered: May 2002	Nitrous and Methanol Wed, 21 April 2004 08:10 anyone have any links or tech info on methanol and nitrous injection?? specfically im thinking of an engine running 98ron PULP, and when the nitrous is switched, the extra fuel delivery accompanying the nitrous is delivered from a separate methanol tank. advantages re: ign timing, cyl temps, detonation etc? are there issues with fuel pump use/choice and methanol? any concerns with lines and fittings? what are the rta/adr rules re: installing a surge tank sized methanol reservoir/tank in the boot area? not that i guess itll have anything in it for normal road use anyway lastly, whats the going price and availability of methanol? cheers ed [Updated on: Wed, 21 April 2004 08:11] [Report message to a moderator]
