FS: BRIS: Multiple TA22 Celicas, Parts & Shells. Sun, 01 September 2002 22:47 Go to previous message
Greetings,

I am in the process of selling off all my old Celicas and parts. These have been accumulated over the past 5 or so years. There is a lot of stuff to go and a story behind it all.

The story first... saw the TA22/RA23 Celica and fell in love with, who wouldn't? Finally managed to find a good one to have as a daily drive, metallic Blue, Jellybean alloy wheels, straight as an arrow and best of all, no rust. The mods bug bit, and the auto was thrown for a T50 5speed, followed shortly by a 2TGEU with a Wolf2D EFI computer. Lowered variable rate Kings Springs followed along with some minor interior mods and trim (seating, metric guages, stereo).

Then one fateful saturday morning, a nice gentleman in a brand new Land Rover discovery decided that my car was too long, and needed to be shortened. A 6 car accident, a ride in an ambulance and several years later, I am now OK, and need to now let go of all the cars, wrecks and parts I have collected over the years.

So... here is the list. I don't know how often I will get to check the forum, so email is the best way to contact me : mailto: troy@pegasusdata.net

List includes, there are a few things I will no doubt forget, so if looking for something, please ask. Pass this on to anyone you know who may be interested as well. All offers considered, just please make reasonable ones.

OK....

Car 1: Complete, Black, 2TG twin carb engine, extractors, 14x6 Alloys, rust in body (boot, doors, near rear window), standard suspension. 5spd manual (requires work, can change from 5th to Rev too easily). Includes original factory aircon.

Car 2: Blue 73 model, approx 1metre shorter than it should be. Damage to front and rear. 2TGEU EFI engine. 13x6 alloys. 1" lowered variable rate springs. Interior in reasonably good condition. Central locking fitted. 5spd manual. Clutch and brakes were overhauled only weeks before accident.

Car 3: Yellow 75 Shell. nothing special. missing a lot of parts used on other cars. Rolling stock.

Car 4: Blue 73 Shell. Has had a lot of prep work done to rebuild. unfinished project. 13x6 alloys on it. Suspect it has lowered suspension, as it looks to sit lower than the standard height. Has some parts, transmission, rolling stock

Car 5: totally stripped shell. 73 model. Rolling stock.

Parts:
Wolf2D EFI computer. Currently base programmed for 2TGEU, which has the loom fitted to it. Prefer to sell this with the Blue car, but will consider selling it separately. Includes documentation.

Miscellaneous transmissions, mostly auto.

2T single cam, single carb engines. For anyone who needs a doorstop, boat anchor or is going for that whole "original" look. I have a few of these.

18RG engine. In parts, no extractors or intake. Requires assembly, rings, seals, gaskets and a lot of TLC to get this kitten purring again. Lots of extra parts, shims, etc to go with this. The guy I bought this from used to race hill climbs and had prepped it for that.

4AGE engine. Complete with EFI Computer, except for distributor cap, flyweel, throttle position sensor and intake filter assembly, loom and extractors. FWD. Can be converted to RWD. 5 spline model, 88kw, from early GTi Corrolla I suspect. Has the supercharged cam covers on it for some reason. This engine is palletted and wrapped in plastic ready for shipping.

The 4AGE is with me in Brisbane, the rest at my folks farm in the Lockyer Valley, 1hr SW of Brisbane. Pictures are available which I will email to interested parties.

Remember, all reasonable offers entertained. I do not want to start picking parts of each, so please understand that I will be resistant to doing the vulture-pick on these.

Thanks for your time.
