I'm about to go get a thermofan for my car, and was thinking of how to mount it...
I've been told that it would probably be good to look at making a shroud, apparently would help cooling a fair bit. I've also been told that the thermofan basically becomes redundant and is a hindrance past 40km/h...
How do people usually mount their thermofans? Flat flush against the radiator? Or make a shroud and mount the fan to that? If so, do you usually cover up the rest of the radiator?
That seems to be quite popular (judging by images on Google) but I would have thought it would be a handicap to the engine and radiator because so much of the radiator is covered up?
