"Acoustic Control Induction System:

The ECU controls the position of the intake air control valve based on input signals from the throttle angle (VTA) and engine RPM (Ne). The VSV, which controls the vacuum supply to the actuator, is normally closed and passes vacuum to the actuator when it is energized by the ECU."

When the valve is open im led to believe the ECU advances the timing as well.

The question i ask is, how difficult is it to rig up some form of dodgy electronic interceptor to change the point at which VSV receives power(or is earthed)? Like an adjustable pot to either bring the VSV into play earlier or later in the rev range?

Easy? hard?

Feel free to shoot me down if you may so wish, but a flat spot in my dyno graph needs fixing Wink
