indian Forums Junkie Location: south east - melbourne Registered: March 2004	WHATS THE DIFFERENCE IN SYNTHETIC AND NORMAL OIL Mon, 03 May 2004 00:52 as the title boys , what the hell is the difference apart from the double price tag on the synthetic i own a 1g-gte soarerand was told to only use synthetic oil by a few people , and others have said its cool to use normal oil what the hell is the best for the turbo motor , specially the 1g-gte have tried mobil 1 supersyn 5w-50 and castrol super-r or something like that 10w-60 both these oils makes the car sound harsh while in cold start and tappet noise when warm , castrol is worse have i toattly got the wrong oil for my car pls help fellas [Report message to a moderator]
