Mon, 03 May 2004 12:00 When i was delivering pizzas i bumped into a falcon at less than walking pace, i nudged the rear bumper. The damage looked very minor, with only a small scrape. The owner claims it bent a bracket that holds the bumper, therefore the bumper will now not sit flush with the rest of the body on one side. This all seems very suspect. he gave me a median of 2 quotes, it worked out to be $750 i asked him to get a second quote, but he went to his mate, a panel beater. He said that he would pay the extra 150 on top of the 750 that he wants me to pay. When i questioned him about the exact model of the car(to try and get my own quote) he dismissed my query and said that he wants to get the matter sorted as soon as possible cause he wants to sell the car. what are my options in this situation? do i have any say in where he takes the car?
