Ok tady I am taking my block to get bored out, but a problem that I have found it that the dummy cam for the 2tg does not fit inside the cam bearings in the 3t block, do I need 2tg bearings for this or sould I just machine the dummy cam till it fits?
also BIGGGGG problem.
I can't find the lock key for the gears on the dummy cam, what should I do?..I've looked in all the boxes of stuff that I bought and still can't find it, does anyone have a spare one that I could buy?...or even a dead 2tg that I can use for parts?
thanks for letting me ramble on.

Don't machine the dummy cam, only pollish it if anything. Just use 2T bearings if the 3T ones don't fit. I was not aware of this problem, first I have herd of it.
Any engine rebuild shop will be able to give you a 1/2 moon key, no problem.
Make sure you rotate the cam bearings not used, (take out and reinstall blocking oil holes.)
