heys,

i recently bought a celica gt4 (88model) and after fiting a boost guage i realised was running 10psi. at this point, there were no signs of a boost controller, and all it had was a 2.5" or bigger exhaust frm where the cat is supposed to be (its running no cat and was licensed like that....with snow tyres too may i add.. ).

i then purchased a hks pod filter (second hand) and now is running 2-3psi less than b4 the pod was fitted. when i was fitting the pod filter (got it done at an exhaust shop) i realised that i had an apexi filter panel inside the stock airbox.

my question is, aint pod filters suppose to gain power, not lose?? and would a clean/new filter element on the hks pod give back his 2-3psi?

sorry for long post

thx
alvin
