Just curious if anyone knows the details of the belts for a 1g-gte
need the p/s steering pump one mainly.

good list of info on 1gs there, but it doesnt have the belt that goes to the p/s pump listed.

get a rope
put it around p/s pulley and crank pulley
measure lengh, mark rope
take it to any auto parts shop
buy belt correct size with same amount of V's
no need wasting time looking for part numbers and the like, its just a belt.

I understand belts... I work with huge ones for fans etc. just would have rathered rang up cbc tomorow and been able to tell a number and got it sent out to my work with the order.

The pulley sizes differ between 1G's, best to measure it to be sure.

Maybe a stupid answer if you don't have the engine in front of you, but don't all the belts have ID details on them, relating to length, width and number of V's etc, that way you can order one over the phone ?
