i have a rather badly rusted roof on my ta22 and was just wondering if it is possible to fit a targa top into it
and if so wat car would i have to get the roof out of
and how hard is it gonna b to fit it
any help appreciated

By rust I am assuming that you are talking about the frame and not the panel areas of the roof, in which case no you can't. At least not without adding a full chassis. The roof is a major structural element of the chassis and without it, at best your doors won't shut and at worst you car will fold up.
If it is just the skin you want to cut, then you shouldn't have any problems.

its just the skin and the gutters but the underside of the frame from wat i can see is still good
does neone know if it is legal to fit a targa top into a ta22

You will need to fit a full cage to do the targa top. If the rust is that bad go find another wrecked Celica and cut the roof off. From what I have seen, Celicas dont commonly have rust in the roof unless it had vinyl lining.

its just got no gutter for the chrome trim to go on to on one side and a bit of rust coming through the roof

You could make it a Targa but it would be more work than making it a convertable. Unless you are super keen, I would be repairing whats there. I guess you could remove the gutter easy enough but be prepared to get wet.

can sumone plz explain to me how to put up a pic so i can show the rust
once sumone sees it they might b able to give me an idea of how to fix it
i thought by siply removeing the roof would b easier then repairing it
or if sum one lives near me can they plz cum have a look to explain wat i have to do
