Chasing a 1ggteu, gen 2 or gen 3. A bare long motor would also do, as it is to replace an existing conversion. But don't mind full motor 'cos can always move the extra bits.

Craig,
I have a 1989 1G-GTE bare motor, here in Perth (WA). Its out of a Soarer but I have sold the turbo's and engine mounts, swapped the sump, and taken off just about every pipe and bracket. Its good for the pistons, rods, crank and dizzy, but that is about it.
Any use to you ?
Cheers,
Mitch.

Thanks. Was the motor a goer? And is it still intact? Don't mind if the bits have all gone 'cos I don't need them. I have 2 motors already - one with a blown head gasket and the other has dropped compression on no 2. I was trying to avoid pulling a motor down and the cost of a HG.

Craig,
Yes, the motor was a goer - I turned it over once, but never got around to compression testing it before I started to sell off parts from it to fund a 1G-GZE engine for my RA23. I got this engine originally from CLG in a group buy, and have been keeping it just for the piston's basically, in case one lets go in my GZE motor.
Cheers,
Mitch.
