1JZ Alternator Problems

Well all my problems mentioned in previous posts are possibly all related to this...
Before i start the car, i read 11.53 Volts at the battery (the car has been off for a while and i have been playing round with the stereo while its been off etc)
My car when at idle has 14.55 Volts at the battery
I turn on the hi beam, fog lamps, stereo, amp, fans, everthing.. and at idle the car reads 13.5 Volts at the battery, and with a little rev to about 2000rpm it reads 14.4 volts... this is with every single electrical item in the car on.
I switch the car off... with the turbo timer running it at like 300/400rpm its still cranking out almost 13 volts...
Car is off after running for 10mins... battery is holding 12.64 volts.
Ive been told this is way way too high for the battery, and all my problems could be related to my ecu and everything etc having a fit because of being pumped too much voltage... i asked "hey wouldnt this blow fuses" but because its the voltage thats too high and not the current then no apparently.
Anyone disagree with this?
Does anyone know if the voltage regulator is strapped to the side of the alternator or if it is located elsewhere, ive had a quick look from the top and bottom but due to its location you cant really see sfa without pulling things out. I thought id better check before i starting digging too deep incase its located somewhere else entirely.
Thanks alot.
