 Best engine for TA22?? open to most options.

OK i know this is a pretty general question, but i have a TA22 and am considering replacing the tired old 2Tc with a more modern powerplant. hence 2TG and 3TG/3TGT are OUT and an 18RG is getting long in tooth now so i dont really want one.Therefore im looking for an engine that is both relatively cheap and will fit without modifying the chassis too much. so that put V8's and V6's out aswell.
heres the limits- naturally aspirated---2.88 liter
for 940kg car - Forced induction------2.35 liter
i've got a list of possible engines,
4AGE/GZE , 1GGTE , 3SGTE , CA18DET , SR20DET , 12A turbo , 13B turbo(not sure on legalities)
if there are any more possibilities please let me know as i am open to many ideas.
