hey all, long time no forum.
anyway, i have recently had some trouble with punks trying to break into my car where i live. i can't park the car any closer than 50m from my front door.
so far, they have screwdrivered my driver's side door at least twice that i know of. my car has an alarm and an immobiliser fitted, but i was wondering about central locking..
i got a replacement driver's side barrel, but i can only get them with security keys, the circular ones, which obviously don't match the rest of my keys.
so i got to thinkings, if i hook up my central locking to my alarm, can i get rid of the external door locks? and if so,can i get rid of the internal lock pins? i am just wondering if it will be legal in NSW.
btw, i know i would be buggered if the battery went flat.... but it's just a thought.
cheers
