Hey guys,
I'm going to purchase new carpets for my car from Knox, http://www.knoxautocarpets.com.au/
I'm getting black, and I've decided on the normal plush pile after going over this picture: http://www.knoxautocarpets.com.au/_derived/default .htm_txt_KACTexture1.gif and looking at the prices.
What I'm not sure about is whether to buy the carpet underfelt or the sound insulation felt. Anybody who's actually bought new carpet before have an opinion? The original stuff is pretty ratshit so it needs replacing. Don't know how the sound insulating one could be worth $60 more than the normal stuff though.
Also, someone said about using a heat gun for moulding the carpets properly on the floor, is that right?
