Mounting noise supressor Fri, 18 June 2004 05:39 Go to previous message
I just bought a $3 noise supessor from kmart to help cure radio interference on the families car. It has a spade clip that it says to mount to the positive terminal on the alternator and then then attach the little capacitor (or whatever it is) to the alternator body. It sounds easy enough, but the car is a 626 Shocked and the alternator is a c..t to get to (almost have to take off intake manifold). Would it work if I just attached this to the battery instead?

I'm not sure what is causing the interference, but it says is helps reduce interference from ignition and alternator.

THanks.
