Dynoing an AUTO?? Wed, 23 June 2004 03:15
I am curious as to how you dyno an auto?

doesnt it just kick-down

manual car you roll on the rollers for a bit get everything warm then hold in 3rd or 4th bout 2grand or so, tromp it, run till redline or till peak power is made.

but with auto once you tromp it the auto will kick down and stuff everything up.

Is there two pins you bridge out in the DIAG OUT??
Cos i only have two pins.....

or with an auto you can only get peak power not the whole torque curve.

I suppose you could dissconnect the kickdown cable????

Sorry just thinking out loud, have i gotten any of this right??

Cheers
Richard
