Installing 2" Tacho in AE92

i've just bought a 2" tacho for my AE92 corolla.....i was wondering if anyone knows by any remote chance as to whether or not it will fit in the small area where the Toyota logo is (or the holden one in my case). It's the same size as the "door warning" one.
I was going to pull my dash apart 2moz, but before i wasted hours doing it, i thought i'd see if anyone had mounted something there before.
How wide is the whole?
Can the logo be popped out easily?
How much clearence do i have behind that area?
If anyone has any answers to these questions it would be so greatly appreciated, cheers.
