Radial vs Crossply Tyres Fri, 25 June 2004 01:08
I got hold of some used 13" AVON semi slick track tyres. They are of crossply design as oposed to radial. I want to use these on dry road, but am unsure of what pressure to run them at.
I think the formula fords and other light club cars run them around 22psi. But i will have them on a AE86. This is a much heavier car compared to the open wheelers.
I usually run my radial tyres around 32-36. I think this might be a bit hard to get the most out of the slicks???

who knows about these tyres?
what do you think?
