18rgeu oil filter and cold start wiring Mon, 28 June 2004 05:31 Go to previous message
ok I read on here that the use of a z68 oild filter should fit an 18rgeu but no matter how hard i try i can't get it at an angle to go over the oil shafty to secure into place.
is there another filter that people use
the one i tried was a ryco oil filter z68
also could someone please show me how their cold start injector is wired up there is a green plug in the thermostat housing only with two plugs protruding from it.
and while i am at it i know people have mentioned it and they actually said that it related to the cold start injector, but how does the cold running system work, i assume more fuel should be going to the intake to maintain firing.
should the dizzy automatically retard/advance to help maintain firing, is there a way to ensure this vaccuum is working correctly
do i make any sense at all?
cheers
Barnsey
