Hey guys,
Has anyone got a picture of the bigger Gen3 clutch and flywheel? What size is it exactly?
Thanks,
Nathan

gen3 gtes have a 9.5 clutch face
I recently fitted a ~760kg pp with a 5 puck sprung center
should do the job.

Are you sure it's that low? The guy where my clutch was dropped off said it was nearly 2000lbs stock, which is way more than 760kg.

What exactly do you want photo's of?
I have the flywheel and clutch off a gen3 GA70 supra at home. But the pressure plate is TRD and the clutch plate is brass button. I probably have the original organic plate somewhere but it was probably TRD as well.
The 3T-GTE flywheel does bolt up to a 1G but the clutch is smaller, by half an inch i think (9"). I used a 3T setup on my first 1G and it did the job fine.
Darren.

I have a feeling the standard one was only 500ish KG.

from this page: http://www.trdsales.com/shop/product.asp?catcode=1 95
The 3rd gen 1ggte clutch plate (TRD part# 31250-SW251) is used in the:
-gx81 twin turbo
-GA70 twin turbo
-JZA80 N/A 5-speedS
-ST215 3S-FE Corona and Carina
-All GT4 Celica's
-SW20 turbo.
The specs they list for the pressure plate are:
diameter: 236mm
standard clamp: 675kgf (6615N)
TRD Spec Clamp: 870kgf (8526N) part# 31210-GA754
The pressure plate is a common part between the late GA70 and GX81's

For what it is worth on that TRD USA parts website, the 5M, 3S-GTE, 7M-GE and 7M-GTE all list a 236mm clutch.

it's only a friction plate for starters and does the r154 have the same input gear as the w58?

Interesting, I'll have to see how mine is. It's a 9" one as my engine is a Gen2.
I can't seem to find out anything about the Gen2 one, as everything lists the 236mm one. All I know is mine is now 40% beefier than it left the factory
