CT 26 -highflowed 4 sale - now pics -SOLD Mon, 05 July 2004 01:48 Go to next message
hey guys
i have a ct 26 from the 3sgte (mr2 sw20) 4 sale it has been highflowed it has the to4e internals, if memory serves me right its the 56mm front if not its the 54mm (paied 1200 for high flow). cant remember, it was high flowed about 2 yrs ago, however it only has 20,000km on it still very clean, small amount of play.
also all of the cermic has been gutted now its complete steel rather then that ceramic crap... has been boosted to 19psi with no dramas.
the turbo is still attached to the manafold and std cat / dump pipe (cat has been gutted) would like to sell the lot together.
asking 650 ono for the lot.
will put images up in the next few days.

Yes, the exhaust housings are different, but are interchangeable, so if you already have a 7M CT26 you can just fit your housing to this hiflowed turbo & off you go!

Cheers

So what else did the mr2 need for it to fit? Any tuning needed?

I've got an mr2 turbo also, interested after i see some piccies.

Will this fit on the standard ct26 manifold?

Willing to sell just the turbo itself?

What are you upgrading to?

I think that the 7M and 3S turboes arent interchangable as the 3S is a twin entry turbo whereas the 7M is a single entry turbo

The CT26 from a 7M motor will bolt onto the existing 3TGTE manifold with a bit of work including die grinding certain parts and rotating the turbo.

The CT26 from a 3SGTE is a completley different turbo, you will most likely need a custom made manifold to fit this on your 3TGTE.

I have a custom made manifold made for my 3TGTE to suit the CT26 off 3SGTE, this was obviously made as the 3SGTE CT26 turbo wont bolt straight onto the existin 3TGTE manifold.

Hope this helps Smile

Read again chief Very Happy , its the HOUSINGS that are interchangeable between the two turbos (ie: swap housing over from one core to the other), not the turbos themselves. Smile

Cheers
