Still hammering away at my custom manifold for my 4AGZE:

And I'll be starting on the vacuum lines etc shortly. The factory PCV hose leads to the atmosphere side of the throttle body where it will get bugger all vacuum. Has anyone got any idea why this is so? Is the factory inlet plumbing so restrictive that there is a decent vacuum there, or is it just effectively an open breather system?

I'm thinking about an oil-air separator while I've got the welder out, but, the design I want to use would benefit from a real vacuum on the other end. Would it hurt anything to plum it in after the TB?
