O2 Sensors any one will do?

hey just wondering if i can use any toyota 02 sensor in my car
The reason is that mine kinda fell out and is now screwed, so i went to the wreckers and the only one i could find was out of a SV21 camry. the probe that goes into the manifold bit is slightly shorted and fatter but the flange is the same size and bolts up correctly, it seems to be working ok.
So is there any reason why i shouldnt use this sensor and get one for a 4age?
