18RG Stalling problem Mon, 26 July 2004 22:57 Go to previous message
I am sitting in Maccas drive through a couple of weeks ago and my temp gauge reaches the first line (within the regular 18rg temp range) and the car just dies. I passed it off as one of those freak Celica occurrences. Confused

Then

Last night I was sitting in a que of cars at a roundabout and my car temp goes about 2mm over the first line (still within reasonable range),.. and the car dies again

both times it took me 10mins to start again,

Before anyone asks, it is full of water/coolant, the radiator and water pump are 2000k's new....

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

any help would be greatly appreciated...
