18RG timing chains

Ive done a search here for previous info on the above but no luck so...
my top timing chain has 15 links to 150mm whereas the book says the limit is 17 links to 147mm (stetched bad). Ive chased around for an upper timing chain and no-one stocks em. Has anyone found a replacement from another engine????
