hey all, just finished the easy part of my 4age swap, that is pulling the 4ac out and putting the 4age in.
i must say, it was very easy and straightforward, couldnt have asked for it to be much easier, unless toyota saw fit to never put the 4ac in it in the first place.
i have a few queries about the heater hoses, but they look fairly straight forward, and i have the_witzl's article on how to do it, so shouldnt be any problem, i wanted to replace all the hoses on the engine before it went in, but there is a lot more room between the 4age head and the firewall than there was with the 4ac.
ill have to post up some pics of the 4ac manifolds, talk about embarrasing!
any pointers on where i will come to grief? i think it is just a matter of wiring now, not really much to it but do it one wire at a time (i hope)
i will be posting pics of whatever bit of the 4ac was making the horrendous clunking noise too, after i pull it down into wheelie sized bits.
