Conversion engineering questions

I am looking for some information on getting a front subframe fabricated. I'm from Geelong, so after information on anyone in Vic who can fabricate a frame for me, with the engineering certificate and all.
The plan is to pick up a cheap 4EFE or maybe get onto 4EFTE and jam it in the front of a Mini. I know brad (unsure if he's a member here, but he's a member on ausmini.com) is almost finnished his 4EFTE conversion in his Mini, but he is in NSW, so can't really help me.
I know that probably no one here has ever done a transplant of anything into a Mini, but i'm sure a few have done transplants into other cars that have needed something along the lines of a frame fabricated and engineered.
