Seat rail fitment. - mounting points ? Thu, 29 July 2004 16:18 Go to previous message
Hello...

Am considering getting adjustable rails and seat brackets (side mount) to fit a bucket seat (in an AE86). The thing is, i am unsure of how and where to mount the rails to achieve low and centered (about the steering wheel) seating position.

From what i can tell, to centre the seat, i'd have to move the rails toward the transmission tunnel. From there i'm lost as to how to get the rails on to the original mounting position. - and get the seat low.

Would appreciate any input on this...

Thanks

James
