ok here's the question. i have managed to find a rare 20R head at a wreckers and i'm going to do the 20R head onto a 22RE block conversion, but i was camparing my 20R head to a 21R head and they seem to look the same. The only differance i can c is that the 21R had square intake ports. This would be good so that i can run the 22RE intake manifold but i'm curiouse why poeple don't just use the 21R head instead of a 20R as they are fairly rare in australia. From the information i have gathered from the net the 21R flows as well as the 20R but i don't know how accurate this is.
