Dampening Fluid in AE86 Shocks Sat, 31 July 2004 14:24 Go to previous message
Heya guys

Just wondering on the specific purpose of the dampening fluid in the ae86 shocks. is it merely to prevent rattling, or does it have a cooling function. Or for that matter does it have a completely seperate function altogether?

I was considering replacing it with some layers of gaff wrapped around the insert to stop it rattling.
Acceptable or no?
