Silver Standard JZA80 16" Wheels - Tyres?	Sun, 01 August 2004 07:07

I have just bought some Supra JZA80 (Mk4) standard silver wheels. They are stamped 16x8 on all four. I thought the rears were supposed to be 16x9 so i'm not sure if I've picked up the wrong set or is that how they come? If they are supposed to be 16x8 all around. What type of tyre does that fit? The guy seemed to think 225's go on them, but a simple conversion would say 200's are supposed to go on. If they are all 200 then they are smaller than what is on my rear already which is stupid as i lose traction as it is. Curently on my rear are 15" 215's. and on the front 15" 195's. I think NA JZA80's had 8" wheels all round, and turbos had 9's on the back, but I'm sure the JZA80 experts will correct me if I'm wrong. Anyway 225's are about right for an 8" rim, that's what comes on MA70's anyway (16x8 rims). [Report message to a moderator]

i have 245's on my 16x8's. They are perfect. EDIT: i have 16x7 at the front running 225's, 225's will fit, but the 245's are perfect, just NEAR IMPOSSIBLE to find!!! [Updated on: Sun, 01 August 2004 08:02] [Report message to a moderator]
