In 1984 I believe I did the 1st shoehorn of a 3TGTE which I bought from Rex Muldoon at API Springvale incl attached gearbox (W55GT) and stuffed it into a t18 also known as TE72? Last year I had a call from some mechanic or other re the computer. I sold the car in 1985 and was amazed that it had survived. I see now everyone and their dog has done the 3TGTE conversion into Celicas, Coronas and the occasional T18. So for the record here is my effort Circa 1984, before some of you guys could drive.
