LT 10 Occasional Poster Location: Sydney Registered: August 2004	SA 63 motor options ?? Fri, 06 August 2004 04:39 I have an SA 63 Celica (jan 84) which needs a new motor. Originally I was hoping to find a replacement for the original that had been pulled out for an engine swap but no luck so far. As I haven't had a Celica since the late seventies (a 71 TA22 with flat rear lamps) I'm having trouble deciphering the alphabet soup of engine combos. I have got the list from this site but it still makes little sense to me. In an ideal world I want a 2.oL (ish) naturally aspirated twin OHC engine what should I be looking for? I've spent the last 20 years doing up a succession of Falcon coupes and Monaros and wouldn't know one end of a turbo from another ... Any clues to lift the veil of secrecy would be appreciated and any leads to a suitable motor (I'm in Sydney BTW) would be above and beyond the call. Thanks Pete [Report message to a moderator]
