I thought we only got the xt and st versions of thsi car. But today i saw a red ra65 gt liftback on frankston highway, dandenong. Was it a custom job or an import or what?

Unless it was a GT-R... In which case it would be TA63 import.

i dont think it was a rice badge because i've seen it on gt coupes, just not hatches. It had flared guards ala ma61 but was 22re

This was discussed on this board a few years ago... i have pics somehwere.
Basically, someone did a 'batch' of ra65 'gts' - all they are are ra65s with an aftermarket 'gt' badge, aftermarket supra-style flares and wing, and a horrible half-colour-coded front grill. That's it.

no, i saw taht one on wellington road a fair bit back, i was going the other direction though, just past the freeway
