Wiring up a car alarm siren Tue, 10 August 2004 11:33 Go to previous message
I installed a Black Widow alarm on the weekend (piece of cake), except the bloody siren came with no instructions. There are 4 wires (red, black, blue and grey). Does anybody know what these wires mean? When the alarm instructions say connect the Siren+ wire to the siren, which colour wire do I connect it to?

I cannot get the siren to shutup by applying 12v volts to red/black, and I tried applying +12v to blue and grey as well.

The bloody siren came with no explanations of the wires!
