1G-GE maximum power output

hi,
I was wonderin what a would a 1g-ge could be bombed out to in hp terms. i am thinking bout the conversion later on down the track for my ra40, but im sure the insurance co. would eat me up with a super or turbo charger seen as i am 16

you would be one of the 1st to try
i havent heard of anyone modifying their 1G-GE.
mine is bone stock (late model MAP sensor version) and is still quite fun at 69kw at the treads. Im sure there is some potential in it but its just not popular enough for anyone to have any info on modifying them.
think usual things like intake, zorst, cams, ECU should get some gains...

Once you start doing engine conversions, the insurance company will ream you no matter what. Yes you'll pay a lot after a turbo engine conversion, but an NA engine conversion won't be much cheaper. I say go the turbo and be done with it.

A while back I was trying to sell a 1GGE that i still have. Wasnt much interest for it! Its in Coffs still, Search for it in for sale if ur interested!
