I have a 77 model celica ra28 with a supra 5 speed gearbox, with the W series bellhousing.(im pretty sure)
Now, which of the following engines is the most simplest and easiest to modify before putting into the Celica.(non turbo)
22R (not sure, anyone know standard HP for the NA version)
22R modified: tell me
18RG (120-145HP standard)
18RG modified (180-200HP 8 valve setup)(more common than 16V)
18RG modified(280-300HP 16 valve setup)(very rare engine)
2TG (110hp to 125hp standard)
2TG modified: tell me
3SG(will this bolt onto my current W series gearbox?)(115HP standard)
3SG Modified: not sure, tell me
And can anyone tell me what year of the 3SG engine had the most HP in NA Form as a standard production line engine? And would it fit the W series gearbox like the earlier 3SG engines?
