What is the better option

I currently have a ta23 that has a reasonable amopunt of bog in it. The paint is shinny but patchy so needs a respray. Interier still needs recovery and also needs new doors.
I can get ahold of a ta22 that im hoping has little bog that i can do from the ground up again using metal insted of bog. Unsure of condition of everything else though. It has a modded crossmember to suit a 18rgu which is what ill be running annyway.
My question is should i keep my ta23 and get all the new parts and redo it all or get the ta22 which could turn out alot more straighter with no bog. which would be worth more in the end ta22 or ta23. who perfers what cars? how hard are parts to get for ta22 as ive had troubles getting ta23 parts already.Would it be worth cutting my losses and going for a better condition ta22 as if i convert my ta23 to original again which i have the parts to do I can sell it straight away. Please let me know all the opinions on everything and how much smaller is the ta22 engine bay compared to the ta23 as i wanna put a 18rgTeu in it.
